Go to www.scholastic.com/superscience Login and select I AM A STUDENT class password is drewa306 Click on the November issue. Select to view the magazine. Read the article "Drop by Drop" on pages 14-15. You will be taking Cornell Notes on the article. A note taking template is included here. You should be able to type write on the template. Remember to include all parts of the heading and a summary. Use your note taking checklist as a reminder. Login to readworks.org
Enter class code ZYZYV2 You will read the article Reef Rescue (you can listen to it as well). Complete all of the comprehension questions excluding the ones that are not multiple choice. Submit your work in readworks. Your homework is posted on Google Classroom with all of the directions. You are going to read an article called School or Bust on scholastic.com/superscience. Login and use class code or password drewa306. Then answer the questions on the page that was assigned on Google Classroom. Do not create a new document. Fill in the assigned activity sheet.
Remember that the semester ends on Thursday. There is no school on Friday, so no late assignments can be accepted. Earth Processes and Boomtown's Coast. Read the article that was handed out in class. Everything must be submitted no later than 8:45 AM on Monday, December 4th. This project is worth 3 grades (Slide show, review of literature, class presentation). No late assignments will be accepted as students had 12 weeks to complete their science fair project.
