Summer is almost here, and NSP is excited to partner with the UChicago’s Enrico Fermi Institute of High Energy Physics to host the 2019 Enrico Fermi Summer Intern Program! This FREE program will take place at the University of Chicago from July 8th to 12th 2019 from (9am to 1pm each day).
The High Energy Physics team is in the process of finalizing the schedule of activities for this year. In past years, activities included lectures on physics, learning how to create webpages with images that can be seen anywhere online, programming a robot and more. This program is for students who will be entering 7th grade in the fall of 2019 and who have not participated in the program in the past. Students not entering 7th grade may fill out the registration form, but they will be placed on a waiting list for the program. Someone from the university will be in contact closer to the start of the program if we do not get enough students entering seventh grade.
