Reading: Your child should be bringing home his/her copy of a play today. They were given a role to learn for class on Thursday. The play must come back and forth between school and home all week. Please help your child to learn his/her lines. Each student should know when it is their turn to speak and what the character's mood and tone is. Being able to show their understanding of the character within the play will be on-half of their final reading grade. The second half will come from a written assessment that they will complete in class on Friday. The only homework they will have all week is to practice their script.
Math: Students will be taking a math test on Thursday that will test their skills on using a menu, finding totals based on quantities and unit prices, subtotals to a bill, and calculating tax and/or tip. Science: Students are completing a design challenge during the first half of the week and will end the year with a philosophical chairs discussion, Comments are closed.
