Good Afternoon,
This is Sean Murphy, Ms. Drewa's student teacher since January. It has been a great experience working at Ray with Ms. Drewa and your children, and I was glad to have had the opportunity to meet some of you at Parent-Teacher conferences a few weeks ago. As a part of my program I am beginning a three week period where I will be responsible for planning and grading as well as leading instruction and transitions. Starting this week, 5th and 6th grade will begin a unit on Space Systems that will last until my last day on May 25th. The unit will include a guest speaker presenting information on the Apollo space missions, hands on observations and experiments regarding gravity and sunlight, as well as a research project creating a scale model of the solar system. During this time Ms. Drewa will still be supporting my planning and instruction, and she will be available for students during the day and during her after school homework club. If you have any questions about this process for either of us please reach out and we can talk further. I'm grateful for my student teaching experience here at Ray and look forward to finishing my time here with this opportunity to develop as an educator while providing engaging and informative learning experiences for your children. Best, Sean Murphy [email protected] Comments are closed.
