Congratulations to Madison Diggins for being voted as Student of the Week!
In reading we will work on a mid-quarter assessment that incorporates the skills we have been practicing for informational text. In math we will continue to work on division. We will have our division test on Wednesday. Please also continue to practice multiplication and division facts with your child. We are looking for everyone to have mastery of their 0-9 facts before we leave for winter break. During science, students will test out their solar cookers on food. They have been investigating thermal insulators and which worked best to heat water. Now they will use that data to determine which insulators worked best out of the 12 tested. On Tuesday, a visiting chef from the Pilot Light program will be at Ray to do a demonstration. Friday in science class, we will follow the steps of the demonstrations. Look for your students to bring something home that can earn them extra credit. Thursday the 15th is our PBIS/Class Dojo incentive trip. If your child received a permission slip, please return it by Monday. Comments are closed.
