PARCC testing begins this week. We will be taking the reading parts of the test on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The math will take place from Thursday 3/30 - Tuesday 4/4. Each test will begin at 9:00, so it is important that all students are at school on time each day.
In reading this week, we will keep working on nonfiction mysteries. Our skill will shift to cause and effect and inferences. In math, we will focus on measuring and identifying types of angles. Students will practice using protractors to both measure and draw angles. During science, students will begin their final assessment project of the quarter. They will focus on animal adaptations in habitats. Students will be also have their second homework assignment this week. Parents please be reminded that the quarter ends on Thursday, April 6th. We need all of our students in attendance each day, so that no one misses any assessments or projects. Please check your child's homework log and the blog each night. There is no time to make up any missing assignments. It is very important that all work is turned in finished and on time. Comments are closed.
