Welcome Back! I hope everybody had a good spring break. We have a lot of work to accomplish this fourth quarter.
In math, we will be finishing up our geometry unit during the next two weeks. We will focus on symmetry, classifying triangles, and classifying and identifying quadrilaterals. Every Tuesday, students will take a multiplication test on 0-9. Thursdays will be dedicated to the facts that students are individually mastering. The first half of the quarter will be dedicated to a poetry unit. The first week and a half will focus on figurative language. In science, we will be starting our Pilot Light Advocacy project on food waste. Students will also work on a bio-inspired engineering project. This project will help get them ready for Invention Convention. More information will be coming home soon! Homework: Math EngageNY lesson 12 (double-sided)/practice multiplication facts.
